Specifications
Operating limits
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum input voltage | 15 V |
| Maximum input voltage | 60 V |
Select a battery for the 15–60 V operating range, allowing for its full-charge voltage and voltage drop under load. For systems using the PDB 500 HotSwap, see its Specifications.
Tested operating points
Performance at 50 V, with and without a heatsink:
| Test result | Without a heatsink | With a heatsink |
|---|---|---|
| Sustained test current | 60 A | 120 A |
| Sustained test power | 3,000 W | 6,000 W |
| Recorded sustained duration | Multiple minutes | Multiple minutes |
| Peak test power | 6,000 W | 7,500 W at 150 A |
| Peak test duration | 3 seconds | 3 seconds |
The peak ratings apply for 3 seconds. Sustained performance depends on cooling, airflow and motor load; size the heatsink and wiring for your application.

Firmware
ESC-R-150 is the PHOTONDRIVE1 target in ESCape32. The documented throttle inputs are PWM and bidirectional DShot300/600. Settings include PWM frequency, motor direction, startup behavior and braking. Telemetry and configuration options depend on the installed firmware and selected modes.
Radio configuration requires ESCape32 revision 17 or later, a bidirectional CRSF connection and one-time activation. Follow Radio Configuration for ExpressLRS or TBS. Serial configuration uses the ESCape32 CLI.
Use the Firmware page for the documented downloads, and the ESCape32 settings reference for the settings available in each release.
